| what is a college philosophy class supposed to teach?
Ok- I’m in a college philosophy 102 class and I had a totally different outlook on what the class was supposed to be about! I went into this class thinking it was supposed to give us ways to think and reevaluate things around us. Instead, my professor is teaching us about sentence structure and tons of things I feel would be better taught in an English class. If you have taken philosophy, what have your classes been about for the most part? I feel like I'm not getting what I paid for.       |
