Time has always existed. Infinity has always existed. It's measurement began with creation. There was no-thing. Nothing encompassed no-thing. Nothing has always existed. Nothing choose to create from no-thing. Nothing created and as creation gained consciousness it began to measure time as a need for survival.

It is obviously impossible for time to have had a beginning, because there is always some time before whatever point one chooses as a beginning. Likewise, time will never end. Time is infinite in both directions. Likewise, space.

I'm using the concepts of time and space here, but they aren't really what I'm pointing to--what I'm pointing to is more like the Ultimate Ground of Being. That is what is really infinite. But we can substitute time and space in this discussion, because those are part of our experience.

It is an absolute, mind-blowing paradox which is utterly impossible for our limited minds to understand--how something could always be, never to have started, never to end. But it must be the reality, nonetheless. No other conclusion is possible. The Ultimate Ground of Being has always been and will always be.

Getting back to time, the problem is partly that we think of it as linear, but it is really circular. A circle has no beginning and no end.
