Note: To be honest with you, I have not tied many of these things, but I am sure, I am going to give each one a go.

Please do not hesitate to add to the list something that might be of a greater helpful.

I have tried everything you have written. The only difference is the insignificant person whom i think maybe one of the person whose question i answered was standing beside me and paying the book she bought from the philosophy section where i too bought. It was really a funny moment thinking that way. Y/A has indeed influence me alot especially on the philosophy section. I learned so many things from people with different ideas on the sam question we answered. Two days ago, i reviewed all my questions and answers of all people who made interests in my question. One of those, is if am worthy to be a top contributor in philosphy. You were not yet around that time, there are so many good answers from my good friends and i cannot forget the shared thoughts and feelings they shared. It was worth reading and remembering. There are really good people and friends here who have seriously devoted their time in the philosophy section. Some of them left because they could not take how Y/A are runned. Some are good top contibutors who happened to lost their honor badge. Some come and go. There are unforgettable experiences here. There are rude people whom i ignored most because it won't bring me good. I just take it as a challenged instead of fighting back and exchanging bad words with them. I believe this is a decent site and ought to have respect to everyone and must not be treated as a site of insignificance for it brings great knowledge for sensible answers i get.

With due indulgence to everyone, this is because i have been around since July 2007 and indeed it was a long journey already and am still present.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts....... indeed it is really worth answering such a question.

1) Yes, and I think that is the basis of my being on this site in the first place. I came here not only to seek knowledge but to impart it too, and by that duel exchange my answering skills and my knowledge of my favourite fields (Philosophy and History) have vastly improved.

2) Yes again, much of the knowledge gained here i have used in my life, and the opinions i learn here help me understand why the world and it's inhabitants are currently involved the way they are. Public opinion explains a lot of what is going in the world today.

3) i do occasionally re-read my own answers, not just to remind myself of how my opinions may/may not have changed but also to see how i have improved within a question asking/answering capacity.

4) Yes, i always tend to try and answer questions that have had no answers, or give a helpful answer for questions that have one word answers. I find there are a lot of young people who use this site a a homework robot, however even by reading the answers sometimes people learn, even if they didn't actually do the research themselves - so I hope that i help them in that way.

5) Yes, at work I'm a program developer and so the technology answers help me a lot, and due to such fast replies this is a very good tool for work.

6) Yes I have It's strange you should say that, because I thought I was the only one who considered it. Also, i tend to wonder if those people sitting in silence on that bus are thinking the same thoughts and questions that are posted on here...

7) Yep, I did it because i needed to know what kind of questions were allowed on here - i have also used them to see if the questions i am reporting are actually valid or if my reports are founded.

I am trying to give comments to the person who picked me as the best answer, not just to say thank you but to answer back to his comment, too.
I'm also trying to visit the page of the people who answered my question and read their profile...
