...living in the moment, its now, what will I do later on, don't know yet, still Im happy now...as others have said before me have a nice day!

Every belief requires other beliefs to support it. Though we may not always be consistent (and thus systematic), these beliefs will generally be coherent amongst themselves, so everyone has a philosophy, whether or not they realize it.

it seems if you have one you tend to be a little bit nicer

I think eveyrone has some sort of belief system whether they are religious or not. You have to have some sort of framework for understanding the world just to function. While living in the moment sounds good, it can lead you into alcoholism and the poor house if you aren;t careful!
