| Do you think the Q'tioners and the A'ers in Philosophy take the "Humanities" part
too much to heart? They will answer everything from poems to speeches to idiotic parables to questions written by green "aliens." Do the answerers in say--History--answer anything and everything? [EXCEPT lessons due the next day that the Questioner wants a whole paper written for!] I confess I've done it too. Sometimes I've answered dumb questions with dumb or dumber answers and got voted best by the Asker. I just don't understand people, I'm afraid. [Sigh.] But I tell the altruists what self-sacrificial lambs they are. I tell the Communists what scum must exist to make their "ideal" system workable. I tell those who ask illegally suggestive ideas to Yahoo. Because I believe what people see on TV and on the net influence them. "The influence of the "dumbing down" of general education leaves people feeling as if they have no control over their own world, and so they take it out on others. "I had to teach myself to add and subtract after high school. "I felt vulnerable, as did many people for many reasons. "But we did not kill over it. Now you see killing, and you go kill. "You see girls fighting to the finish, so you fight with them. "You will do anything anyone tells you. Because you feel helpless. "Just stop the killing." Curtis Edward Clark: "Inside the Cosmic Wheel: The Search for the Single Intelligible Object." The selection from "The Search for the Single Intelligible Object" was edited. I agree, but I never heard it put that way before. Congrats. |

It seems like the tides, the ebb and flow of intelligent questions. Every thirty two or so a good one shows up. Just like waiting for a wave to surf. The TV told me....Is a big problem in society. The adds men have gotten a hold of the monkeys reflex actions and John Q. Simeon is not yet aware. I feel the way you do. but you say it so much better. I would have to take a few more violations to express my feelings. mmmm, this oolong tea is good! |

EVERY WHERE THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ON THEIR OWN FEINGS COME UP TO HELP POPULATION JUST FOR THE INNATE FEELINGS THEY EVEN GO TO THE EXTENT OF GIVE AWAY THEIR LIVES.A WAVE MAKES ALL TO SERIOUSLY CONSIDER WELFARE OF HUMANITY.Did we see any mob jointly considered for humanity?

Every time an asker gets an intelligent answer I wonder if they know. Do they get it? Perhaps it would be better to leave the questions hanging out there like a spiders web but I can not help thinking. Someone, just some one person might benefit, might learn that we can not break a rule unless we know it is a rule.... all else is error.
