no. They only use the free market excuse when they want to make excuses for the obscene profits they make. When companies start to go belly up they jump in with taxpayer money to save them( it's called corporate welfare) but yet they think that if poor people get welfare( health care, food stamps) it's the biggest mistake ever made. The fed is stepping in to give a $200 billion (loan?) to the banks and savings and loan industry to bail them out, but the people that are losing their homes will get nothing out of this. This is one sad situation.
