most philosophy majors usually end up teaching or going to law school from what i've seen in my experience.

Joseph has a spectacular aura about
Bartender, hair cutter, the best one I saw was a guy who cleans floors, I build things out of wood. A fear of real work will stifle philosophy in the modern world. Unless you enjoy begging.

Only to teach is where it directly applies.

Its a great subject and a true degree, don't let any one else tell you otherwise.

Go and enjoy it, but be prepared to choose a different vocation, it is not a vocational subject, you have to learn to teach afterall as well.

Specifically ->

Teach A-level Philosophy

Be a Philosophy Professor (i.e. get a PhD)

Maybe RE GCSE, philosopy could apply....
