One's conviction can be the same for both. Knowledge would be rooted in fact, while belief is faith in an idea without proof. One's conviction in a belief can be so strong that they feel they 'know' a belief to be true, which is fine. It's an intuitive type of knowing.... but it's still really believing with a strong conviction.

There is something about a certain way of knowing reality that requires no proof to believe it. It's like saying "I believe that 2 + 2 = 4 because I can see that it is so" That kind of belief comes from a conviction within the self that demands no proof. The awakening of the mind to the new reality becomes belief because it so perfectly harmonious within the soul and the soul accepts it naturally, as though it was programmed to accept what is true and real because it cannot be anything but true. The truth resonates perfectly with the mind and soul. No need to challenge it or accept it by a proof. So when you are in a psychological state that is harmonious with reality, the seeing becomes the believing from a conviction within. We call this faith, and the new realization becomes our knowledge.

to know is very different from to accept if you get the picture i am painting . not all you know have you accepted to be part of you. a knowledge that you accept as a fact or true is the knowledge we can say you belief but a knowledge you just absorb and did not accept because you doubt the application , is a knowledge you have not belief i hope you have understood what i am trying to explain.. a belief is a way of live while some knowledge is just a know how.
