...best camera i should get.? I have only a crappy 5mp camera that i am making to with because i have literally no money to spend on a camera. Im still a bit of a beginner but want to be more advanced.

The Canon Rebel XTi is a great entry level DSLR. I've had mine for about 2 1/2 years now and I still absolutely love it. You can find it on Amazon.com for $590 right now.

If that's still a little bit over your budget, look into getting Canon Rebel XT... available on Amazon.com for $450.

The best cameras are made by Nikon. The best on the market is the Nikon D2XS 12.4mp. If you want inexpensive you gotta get the cheapest in the D series, which is a D2HS 4.1mp. I recommend the 6.1mp D40, which is around $480 brand new. Have fun taking pics.

Well if you have no money, you have a problem.

There is one word of wisdom: you simply cannot do better than Nikon glass. The lens is everything.

Canon has a good line that follows, but if you want best, go with Nikon.
