| How can i get my photography exhibited? Hey i am an 18 year old (based in london)and have been shooting live artists for around 3 years now and managed to build up a large portfolio of work. I would love to exhibit my photography in a public space.. Any ideas on how to do that? I know i could go around art galleries and show them my work but is there an easier way? Such as maybe a website where you can submit photographs to them and if they like it they can chose to exhibit the shots? Thanks |

| I wish things were as easy as that, but they're really not. They only advice i could give is that you have to become a stalker, I'm afraid you do have to go to galleries, e-mail the curaters, call them constantly. More often than not.. they'll shut the phone on your face, however there are times where they're genuinely interested. What i do is send an e-mail with some of my work attached, simple captions underneath (VERY) briefly describing the work and my details, then i usually do a follow up call. Try approaching art magazines. http://www.nottinghillartsclub.com/ Try them, they're very interested in new young talent! Good luck! |
