sweetlittlething has a spectacular aura about
professional photography.?

i love to take pictures, and i want to go to college for it, but i suck (completely suck) at math, and i dont know if i'd be able to get into one, i'm only in 10th but everyone tells me to start thinking of my future now. My question is, what are the credits and what do you have to have to get into a good photograhpy school?

I think you can do fine in Photography school without a lot of math. But there is math:
Aspect Ratios
Focal Lengths Multipliers
Depth of Field Calculations
File Size calculations for digital images
Exposure calculations: F-stops, Shutter Speeds, film speed (ISO)
Chemical Ratios for the dark room (if anyone still does)
Percentages and ratios abound in image composition and image manipulation.

Don't be afraid of it. It may not even seem like math, but math it is.

There is good news in the area of math ... there is VERY little need for math in photography ... and what there is, is very simple ..more on the order of arithmetic
