Annafur has a spectacular aura about
Could I get disqualified from a photography contest ?

So i entered the Oregon Humane Society photo contest , and i entered 5 of my images . Though what i'm worried about is , my images have been viewed 45,000 thousand times, and when i entered the contest i used my real name , but online i use a different name. Could the contest judges think that i just took the pics away online and entered it in ? Or should i change my name online on my photography websites , to my real name , so there the same ?

Thank you
My computer crashed not too long ago , and i only have the originals to 3 of the 5 that i entered .

I agree with Teri and Mason. Many artists "trade" under a different name than their given name. You would be able to prove ownership of the images one way or another. It's very unlikely that they would know about your site on Flickr anyway.

the judges on the jury viewing your images won't be taken aback by two different names, even if it should come up...they are aware of nome-de-plumes being used by artists all the time... teri and mason and sam and pookie know their stuff, don't worry....good luck i think you'll do well

You should be able to prove they're your images. You have the originals saved on your computer, right? I think it should be okay as it is.

I doubt the judges are going to go looking for your images on the net. But you're being a worrywart because that aint going to happen. And in the remote chance that they do query you, all you need to do is show them that you can log onto your account. That'll prove it's yours.
