| Wildlife Photography - Tips?
Am going to Namibia in the summer and look forward to seeing all the wildlife. Currently have a dSLR with 55mm lens. Any suggestions what lenses and other paraphernalia I really need for (amateur) wildlife photography? No extra details but a huge big thank you to all of you who have answered so far. You have all given really good suggestions and are really helping me prepare. Thanks! |

Long lenses, VR or IS enabled and a tripod. Also, you'll need plenty of patience and a good knowledge of the wildlife you'll encounter will help as well. If you know how your subjects are going to act or react, then you can better predict how bets to shoot them. Having a knowledgeable guide will be useful as well. |
