Can anyone advise whats best: Canon or Nikon...or Hasselblad or Mamiya for Dance...

...Photography? Obvioulsy the cost will be different...Im wanting to invest in a brand so I can expand accordingly. Im an amateur and dont know whats the best way to go about when my knowledge is soooo sooo limited. My main interest in Dance and People...so i understand the Shutter speed has got to be excellent....Im not clued up to whats great and whats not - though am trying...Ive talked to a few people...but their knowledge is also limited. I really dont want to be sold something thats not going to enable me to get the photos I want...any advice would be great. I am on a Budget...rangeing upto about 1 Grand...but am unsure as to what this can get me....I want to get a really good camera body...plus lenses etc. I know this is all abit vague...hence my asking for help...any particular brands or models etc would be great. Thanks!

Perhaps abit more research and then off to check them out in the shop...
Im aware that Hasselblad & Mamiya are that extra bit expensive and perhaps more than I need....
I will check out what I can get even if over budget abit - at the end of the day - if I can capture the frame and not lose the moment...and of course be able to shoot in low light...then Im half way there! Thanks again and any more advice always welcome....
