Is this a good camera kit to help me get into photography?

I love photography & recently decided to buy my first full SLR. I decided on the Canon Rebel XTi. It's perfect for my hands. e-bay seemed to have some good package deals. With taxes, shipping and the 3 year canadian warranty it was $1,102 CAD. It's all new items. So bottom line, I want to be able to take a wide variety of professional shots and get myself into photography. Here's what I got. Please let me know if this will give me a good start, if they are good lenses and if it was a good deal. Thanks!

The REBEL XTi body
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Lens
Sigma 28-70mm f2.8-4 HIGH SPEED lens
Titanium .45x Wide Angle Lens
Telephoto Lens
3 Piece Filter Kit (FLD/PL/UV)
3GB Memory Card
USB CF Card Reader
Delux soft case & Aluminum Hard Case
Delux Tripod
Digital Flash for SLR Cameras
Canon Lens Cap
Canon USB cable
Canon TV/Video cable
Canon EOS Digital Solution Disk
Lens Cleaning Kit
3 year full warranty

What do you think?
I just want to add that I know several items listed come in the original box with the camera body, so I see what they are trying to do. I also said 3 GB card, buI did not have much typing room. It actually comes with a 2 GB card and a 1 GB card. I have a tripod similar to that one, and it is quite flimsy. I assume it's probably cheap and not worth much. I'm mostly concerned about the lenses. And if the Rebel XTi itself is good. Thanks again.
