Hannah, I am glad you enjoy photography. Your images are pretty much the standard beginner's offerings, snapshots lacking technical and artistic expertise. They are not bad, but not at a professional level yet. I think you have potential to make fine images, obviously you want to learn and like capturing pictures of pretty things. I left a couple of comments, my favorite was the fence, and I also like the shore photo with the people. Your self-portraits are like all such made by holding the camera at arm's length and snapping. The wide angle used is not very flattering (for anyone, you are an attractive girl) but for myspace or where ever it is fine and what every teen seems to be doing. Some great photo websites, both to learn and see other great photos are www.photo.net, betterphoto.com, and kodak.com. I always suggest getting a book or two on beginning photography, and studying your camera manual to get the most from your equipment. Also "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson is an excellent reference. Look at images in professional sites and good photo magazines and pay attention to the lighting and composition. Then try to duplicate them in your own world. Learn some technical and artistic stuff and apply what you learn to your photography. As you gain knowledge and practice you will see your images get better and better. If possible take a class at school or join a camera club. Keep posting so we can see you grow. Best wishes!

Ok first off, it isn't that safe to be handing out photos of yourself online. Second buy one of those photo enhancing cds...We have Jasc Pain Shop Pro Studio. You can edit pictures and stuff and change color and lighting and all sorts of things!! Plus a really really awesome camera makes it much easier! Cheers!! :]

The best way is to go on line and spend a lot of time looking at what the pros are doing; then try to emulate their work. http://www.blackbook.com Then when you can, take a class in photography at your local community college.
