Photography in black in white, do you need special lenses or do you do...

...something to the film? For example, I have a digital camera and I want to make the picture I take to be in black and white, do I do something to the setting of the camera to save it in black and white or do I need to edit the picture I took in a photo editor before I print it?
If I use regular film camera, can they print it in black and white?

I hope you can understand, I'm not very good in English, I've only been learning a short time.
