| Help with a topic for a photography class? Okay this is a ridiculously vague question but hopefully someone's answer will start me thinking about things.
I am taking a visual journalism subject at uni and have an assignment that is simply to "tell a story". It doesn't have to be newsworthy but just has to be an example of storytelling. It is to be presented in 10 still images or 10 minutes of edited video footage or a combination of both.
I am soo stuck for an idea. I want the story to be simple and easy to follow and present since I don't have much photography experience. It also has to be something I can go back to several times during the semester to improve my work and take more photos. I don't want it to be something menial and cliche like "A day in the life of..."
From the limited photos I've taken with my newly borrowed camera, I've discovered that my photos of people stand out more than landscapes or architecture. I would also like it to be something that draws a strong reaction from its audience.
Any ideas? |
