zablackw has a spectacular aura about
Urban life photography.?

I am wanting to do urban life and be able to capture the southern feel but still give it the urban life feel in place I live and visit in the south like big cities here such as Atlanta (Where I live), Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, Jacksonville, Tampa, Dallas, and so on and so on.

I want to get shots of local people doing their everyday things in life and I want to take pictures of local restruants and locals eating their or local shops that people go to often and capture all that. But, I am looking for the best camera that will give me a warm feel.

I was wondering about some film cameras but I still want to be able to have a digitial camera also. What would you recommend for this type of shooting? I thought the Nikon D70 or the Nikon D100 would be pretty good because It gives me alot of the options I am needing but still not sure.
