Entry Level Photography Jobs In Atlanta?

Im Applying To SCAD-Atlanta For The June Semester, But I Need A Recommendation Form From My Proffessor. The Thing Is He Won't Fill It Out, He Said My Photographs Were Excellent But I Missed A Couple Of Days And He Thought That Was Irresponsible. Anyway, I'm Deadset On Leaving Texas For Atlanta This Summer And I Don't Want To Get A Meaningless Job That Has Nothing To Do With Photography. Im Going To Earn Enough Money Before I Leave So I Don't Have To Worry About Money For A While. How Can I Get An Entry Level Photography Position? I Don't Know Where To Begin, And I'm Starting To Think This Move Is Not Going To Help. I Still Plan On Reapplying For The Fall Quarter So I Will Be Going To School. I Just Need Some Tips On How To Get A Photography Assistantship.
I Wasn't Being Flaky, We Have Work Days Which Are Intended On Working On Our Projects. Instead Of Going Into The Lab I Go Out And Shoot Because Of My Work Schedule. My Last Two Professors Worked This Way, And He Didn't Explain His Meaning Of Work Days Until Last Week. The Semester's Almost Over.
