| PHYSICS: wave motion..answer verification?
a note of frequency 250Hz is transmitted through air with a velocity of 350m/s. this wave passes into water through which it travels with a velocity of 1800m/s. what is the wavelength of the wave in air and in water. I used the formula V=frequency x wavelength and i got 1.4m for air and 7.2m for water is this right? thanku |
