I have asked 3 times aready and no answers are correct, test your physics skills?

A meter stick (L = 1 m) with mass M = 0.418 kg is supported by two strings, one at the 0 cm mark and the other at the 89 cm mark.

a) What is the tension in the string at 0 cm?
(I got this one correct)
T0 = 1.8 N

b) What is the tension in the string at 89 cm?
(I got this answer correct as well)
T89 = 2.304 N

c) Now the string at 0 cm is cut. What is the tension in the remaining string immediately thereafter?

Tremain = (My guess was 3.83 N and 4.09 was guessed but is incorrect as well) included the two help sections, they are:
Draw a FBD to find all the forces and torques. A convenient axis for computing the torques is the position of the remaining string.
Unlike the previous parts, neither the net force nor the net torque vanishes. The net force leads to an equation for the acceleration of the CM. The net torque leads to an equation for the angular acceleration. The acceleration and angular acceleration are related to each other (HOW?). Put all this together to find the tension.

The tension in the uncut string does not change immediately. It is still 2.304 N.
