| reynolds number help fluid flow? physics?
An engineering company is designing a piping system for a chemical plant. The pipework has a nominal inside diameter of 0.25 m and is to carry sulphuric acid with a typical flow speed of 0.10 m s-1. In order to model the flow, they produce a scaled model that is 10 times smaller than the pipes in the factory a)need help in finding thid reynolds number. Determine the Reynolds number associated with the sulphuric acid flow in the piping system. sulphuric acid n/kgm^-1s^-1=2.42x10^-2 p/kgm^-3=1839 any help? |
