a merry-go-round of radius R= 2.5 m has a moment of inertia I= 400 kg m^2 and is rotating at 8 rev/min on a frictionless axle. A 40 kg child, treast as a particle,jumps onto the edge of the merry go round. whats is the new angular speed of the merry-go-round?
