Matt S has a spectacular aura about
Boiling Point (physics- thermo)?
So this was a question on our physics quiz...

What happens to the boiling point when
beaker is placed in ice-water?

A) Increases
B) Decreases
C) Same

according to our prof. the answer is B. Is there any logical way to explain that answer with the way the question is written?
