Need help rearranging an equation in physics?V= [1/4??] [Q/R]? an some one show me how to rearrange and solve for Q V= [1/4??] [Q/R] this is an eletric voltage equation and i need to solve for Q can some one go through it slowly for me please thanks |

First you can multiply everything out, i.e the the denominator by the denominator and the numerator by the numerator : V = (Q)/(4R??) Remember from algebra or whenever that: in order to get remove x from 2/x you need to multiply by x: (2/x)*(x) = 2/1 = 2 Since you are solving for Q, you need to get Q by itself, i.e. to Q/1 = Q you will need to multiply by 4R?? to get Q by itself. Remember that whatever you do to one side of = you have to do it to the other side. V*4R?? = (4R??*Q)/(4R??) Q/1 = V*4R?? Q = 4VR?? |
