| Which is better to study in college, Physics or Mechanical Engineering?
I like Physics, and I'm good in it. But, I'm not sure if I will land on a good job after it. It's okay for me to teach or do research. In Mechanical Engineering, I'm quite sure that I'll have a job immediately, but I'm not sure if I'll enjoy doing it for the rest of my life.

Take physics. Richard Feynman was faced with a similar decision and choose engineering - and realized it was the wrong choice. You must go with what you like. When you are finished you can do a masters is some applied area. Physics graduates these days are being snapped up in droves by wall street. Modern financial math is very similar to the math of statistical physics. Thanks Bill |
