Why didn't Jesus write a Gospel?

Did you know that Socrates never wrote anything? Everything about him was written by Plato. He was too busy teaching Philosophy viva voce. Regarding Jesus, he was too busyin his Ministry as an ambulant Rabbi, whose period was extremelyshort: Only three years. His Apostles too, never wrote anything. There are speculations that they did but nothing was approved into the canon of the Church, for the single reason that they wouldcontradict the writings of Paul and his disciples. Therefore, not good for Christianity.

Witnesses always are used in a court of law, because they are more reliable than the person on trial. People will believe eye witnesses before they will believe the defendant. Who would have believed Jesus' gospel without witnesses (the four gospesl)?
