Reasonable entry level salary for Medical Laboratory Assistant?

I have applied for a job in this field. I have more than an associates degree and have also taken an handful or science courses: anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, chemisty, physics, and animal biology.My downfall no experience or certification...I was told medical terminology was desired.The position is part time in texas.So please help me out so I can get an idea what to negotiate!
