| Anyone any good at Physics??? Help!?
Okay...so, I'm doing lab questions for homework and me and my partner can't figuire out the answer to this question.
We're trying to find out if the energy transformation from potential to kinetic is 100%. For this experiment, we basically timed how long it took a small metal ball to roll down different distances on a roller coaster-like ramp. We also had to calculate the potential, kinetic energy, and total energy for each point. We did so using height, distance, and speed.
The question is:
What percentage of the marble's energy is left at the end of the roller coaster just before it stops(or at the last place you measured)?
How would we solve this?
