pizzahutt99 has a spectacular aura about
physics project?

i have a project which requires you to use only styrofoam cups and toothpicks. You will have to construct a "cage" so when you put an egg inside, the egg wouldn't crack if dropped from a 2 story building. My question is: how can you construct an effective model? you can use as many cups and toothpicks as you can, but will be better if the whole structure's mass is as small as it can be. (Greater time means a smaller force, but am not sure how to do this)

Construct a large box out of the walls and base of the cups, then tear up as many other cups as you can into small pieces and fill the box with it. haha thats the best thing i can come up with, not very scientific but whatever. But it would work i guess because the torn up cups would slow down the egg on its way down.
