| Please help with this physics question!?
Our physics teacher gave us this physics question about an electric capacitor. The diagram can be found here: http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x26/N... The questions are: -Why is E and q equal to zero? -Why can we not have any charge on the outside of the plate on top and bottom? -Why is there no charge/no field on top and bottom? As a reminder, the picture shows an electric capacitor with positive charges on top and negative charges on the bottom. All the charges are concentrated on the inner surface of the parallel plates. Thank you very much! NEW LINK TO PHOTO: http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x26/NafizMosharraf/PhysicsProblem.jpg |
