i really need help with these physics problems..?

1. A 90 kg paratrooper who tends to black out when experiencing downward forces in excess of 1000N, jumps out of C-130 at an altitude of 5000 meters. He deploys his parachute at 3500 meters. If the parachute causes an upward acceleration of 6.0 meters per second squared, will the paratrooper black out? Why or why not?

2. A 25.0 kg bumper car is designed to withstand a force of 50000N. This bumper car is stopped almost instantaneously by a wall at the edge of the bumper-car track. If the car was moving at 18 meters per second and wast stopped in 0.01 seconds, will the bumper car survive?
