3 pretty roses,
they lay behind a tree.
3 pretty roses,
that he will never see.
3 pretty roses,
it will never be.

1 rose for the hugs you so willingly gave,
I place it beside your grave.
1 rose for every time you took the blame,
I lay it down with shame.
1 rose everytime you got back up and tried,
I lay it down and I start to cry.

That’s 3 pretty roses that lay behind a tree,
That’s 3 pretty roses you will never see.
3 pretty roses to say we’ll never be.
3 pretty roses, to bad you wont see.
