Poetry.com HELP!!!?

how many people here entered a poem at poetry .com? okay how many of you got chosen to " be published"? I was one of them i want to know if by just applying u win? please answer!! I am not sure if i am sencerly getting published or is it just some way for them to make money?!?! HELP

Yes, it is a feel good scam devised to make money off of your poems. If you enter a poem you will win. They tell you that you won and they will publish your poem in a book. Then they offer to put a biography of you in the book(for a fee). Then they offer you a copy of the book with your poem in it( for a fee). Then they offer you a special engraved book jacket with your name engraved on a brass(like) plaque(for a fee) that fell apart as soon as my daughter took it out of the box. Then they tell you that your poem has won another contest of theirs and that you can claim the many things associated with it(for a fee). As long as you are willing to send them money your poem will continue to win. I personally am very angry at them for taking advantage of my daughter more than I am about the money I spent before we figured out their angle. She is very serious about her writing and they really hurt her. Do not send them any money.

No u get NO money but ur poems get put out there and when u enter u don't get anything unless u win

I have and all 5 of my poms have been said to get an award. I checked on my computer and it says if a website is ok or if it is bad and it was one of the bad ones don't give them money they are lieing!! Anyone who post a poem and then looks at it gets a thing saying they are getting an award!

They are a scam.
I haven't used it personally because of all I've heard about it.

its a scam everyone gets invited and you pay them money and they get money i dont know if you even get published but EVERYONE gets "accepted"

i haven't a clue. i've never been good @ poetry. i mean Cat in the Hat was a genius, though.
