poetry question... 10 points on offer PLEASE HELP?

i have to write a poem for English, it isn't a assessment of anything but i would like to go good in this class.

it has to be about what your feelings are towards war... as in how young the solders were if you think war is necessary etc.

you can strat it of with ither...
1. lifeless bodies march towards doom
2. i am 21, but an old man. War has stolen my youth
3. the angry fire of guns roared.
4. piercing screams echo in my mind drive through my soal like a dagger
5. a garden of heroes a wastelans of corpses
6. a gateway to doom stands before me.
7. a tragedy pf war brings brotherhood

i had a try a choose 6... you are alowed to change it... i did
a helpledd boy standing at a gateway to death

it has to have descriptive words that paint a picture in your mind & use like or as for a metaphor please
