| Ive been told im good at writing poetry... but im not so good at naming it.. WHAT... ...SHOULD I NAME MY POEM?? i thought i knew the person staring back at me, the person in the mirror who else could it be? the little kid running up and down the street playing hide and seek, running on her feet, the girl chasing barefoot, running after friends the girl talking quietly, trying to make amends, the teenager struggling, walking home from school trying to fit in, trying to be ‘cool’ trying to survive family issues and strife, a mom messing around putting trouble in her life a teenager trying to figure herself out, a good person nonetheless inside and out but hate seems to have morphed the features of this girl, the struggles and the pain have blackened the pearl…      |
