whay is poetry REALLY about?

I am a poet, I do it because I love words, and I have a deep emotional nature.

But what is it all about?
Is there a specific reason as to why people, like me, do it?

Or am i just stupid...? NO DON"T ANSWER THAT!
and please "star this question. I used up all my answers, but I really want to pass it around, so everyone who knoews the answer, will get a chance at prooving their point.
