I went here as I often do to find an "External Link" that will help you with this specific poem.
First I went to Minstrels Archive, which is a great place to read poetry, but this poem "The Fish" wasn't there.

However, if you click on the Wiki link above, and put Marianne Moore into the search box on the home page, then go directly to "External Links" under the brief entry on this poet, you'll see the last link 'Modern Amerian Poetry: Marianne Moore' --click on that one.

When you get to their page for Moore, you'll see "On 'The Fish' " in the top line... it's a link, click on it.
There, as you scroll down, you can read at least five critical essays on this piece, which looked (in varying degrees) very detailed, and which I think will help you a lot.
They looked good to me.
