I was sitting in class one day,

Sitting in doubt.

I see my brother Ken walk up

And it seems to be, i have been signed out.

I walk out in the hall,

Wondering, whats the matter,

He tells me my grandpa Vaughn just died.

My heart begins to shatter.

I start to cry and cry

Like I've never done before.

I dont think i can take it,

My knees drop to the floor.

I can only imagine

What my Grandma is going through,

She sits in despair

She doesn't know what to do.

My grandpa was loved by many people,

Too many to count.

He is in a better place now,

Oh, how i miss him

the sentiment is sweet and the idea seems good but you may want to decide if you want it to rhyme or not. you might want to read it aloud, or have someone else read it back to you, so you can check the rythem and make sure it flows alright.
