I thought it was going to be easy
To get you out of my system
But after a few years
You came back into my vision

It was blurry
But I would never forget your face
All those years together
All of them went to waste

I would take you to the movies
Play a lil b-ball
Be there to catch you
If you were to fall

When you were hurtin
You would close your pretty eyes
Lean on my shoulder
If you had to cry

Remembering those years
How they all were wasted
Now I'm livin in regret
I'm the one who has to face it

I've lost you forever

Just like my last one, this one has a story behind it as well... This is about my first girlfriend. We were like 8 when we first got together. I wrote this when we broke up when I was 15. She moved away to Arkansas and I didn't see her until I was 17 and out of high school(cause I graduated early), but only for 1 day. I haven't seen her since. I know its a sad poem but I can't help it!
If you're wondering why I say the time was wasted is because she was forced to move to Arkansas and I never thought I would see her again... so she wasn't a waste of time but it felt like 'all that time and now I have to find someone else' type of thing.
