African, Latino, Female or Male Poetry to Peform?

I am looking for poetry to peform, I would love something that identifies with the African Experience or the Latino experience or even African-Latino exprience with the new wave of immigrant beginning in the 50's, it would be awesome if it were female tambien

I have looked at:
Gwendolyn brooks
Maya Angelou
Sonia Sanchez (something similar to hers)

I would really like something by the last poets but instead the female version!!!!!

try don l. lee he is a great african american poet. his poem 'primitive' is good. nikki giovani is another african american author you could try.
