I'm doing the Poetry Out Loud competition PLEASE HELP NOW!?

omg, so im going to the state finals (the 1st round) tomorrow. I won in my school, from 5 people... and there was no regional, so tomorrow is the state!! (im in MA by the way, so if ur doing it too im might see u tomorrow lol) and i was searching other ppls questions on this subject, and in someones questions, it was noted that she "thinks" that hand gestures are marked down. Is this true??!?!??!?!?!?! I thought it would be nessasary to do hand gestures! I have go the 3 poems down though, and i really have feeling when reading it, like im really into it. Should i not do hand gestures??? i was watching the actual finals for the winner last year, and people did do hand gesturess. please answerrr!!!!! i gotta know now cause its tomorrow.
