i am having to analys this for a english assignment and i am only able to find reptition and free verse

i also understand the meaning but cant figure what the themes would be

well i cant help u with the techniques
but theme is like what the whole song is about.
its been awhile since i heard it
but it has a sad tone
try to think of what the moral of the song is
