My question is--if the Democrats actually have to go out and HELP the under 35 people register to vote,? do we trust that their vote is going to be any kind of vote worth registering? If they need to be taken by the hand to register what does that say about their I.Q. in making a choice for who is going to be President?

Seriously, they won't vote. Some of them might, but if they get a call on their way to the polling place by one of their friends asking them to come to the bar, you can't sit there and tell me they aren't going to turn that little car around and have a beer! Even if they do vote, the liberal indoctrination they get in college makes me hope they just drink beer instead.

I think that their mommies will have to wake them up at 2 or 3 PM to make sure they vote. These are most of Obama's supporters--white males, 20-30, living at home and feeling down with the black man. The rest are either doused with white guilt (latte liberals) or black flavor voters. There's not a great deal of substantive support based on qualifications or EVIDENCE. It's faith-based voting. It's religion, period.

It says they are lazy and stupid.. Every one should vote on their own.. having to go find them and convince them to vote is asinine. No wonder American youth is looked at with such scorn.. they are so busy living the good life that thier parents sacrificed so much for them to have.. that they do not think they will ever be any age but what they are. They should be ashamed.. and honestly if i were a candidate, I would not even want their support!

It is a little scary to think some off the people who are barely aware, are being counted. But that is democracy, I guess. Everyone has a voice. That's why you need the politicians, to finagle the promises away. These same voting people wouldn't even comprehend that the politicos went the other way. The election happened and look a win. My team won, yeah.

This country is founded on the principle that ALL citizens can vote. Both parties do their best to get the people they think will be sympathetic to their policies registered and to the polls on election day. I think the actions of both parties in this respect are admirable. Not so admirable are the (mostly Republican) attempts to intimidate and obstruct sections of the population from voting. There should be much harder penalties for these illegal activities.

First you fail to educate people and then you suggest that they should be disenfranchised. Poor people have made bad choices, the south lost the civil war, urban dwellers are choosing misery. Maybe only Bill Gates should vote. Democracy is Demoralizing, isn't it?
