Is my opinion wrong and racist?

I believe Australia aboriginal people do not deserve the amounts of compensation they've been given in the past...They carry on about how they own the land, but essentially, isn't their cornerstone belief that the land is not owned by anymore, rather the land owns them? AND the australia govt. is made to feel the guilt of past generation wrongs, when they shouldn't have to, the govt has done a lot for them, and they just drink and free-load off the govts benefits...I don't want to sound racist, I achknowledge what has happened, but if they want to be treated equally....how about they go and get a job and EARN their place, instead of playing the poor, discriminated, race card?
