I've taken a vacation from R&S and I feel SO MUCH happier in general?

I sort of realized that R&S is not the place to seek out intellectual conversation so I vowed never to return. And I feel much better! I've been having more face to face debates instead of computer debates and I have to say, its a lot more fun.But... I got on to ask a question in politics and I accidentally clicked on R&S.. and felt a wave of frustration wash over me... nooooo...I've also read 4 books since breaking up with R&S.. another benefit

lol I know how you feel...but...I used to take most of the questions here very seriously. Big mistake. I Only take questions from people who really need help seriously now. R&S is the crack of Y!A. Nice to see you back if only by 'accident'. If you really want to quit, I'd recommend a good 12 Step program.

When I was looking into a R/S book, that was very positive and in Q&A format, I asked if it was really necessary. The book opened up to a page that told the religious person to be more like his kind, good neighbors, who weren't religious or spiritual. If you are kind and conscious, you are on the right path. I really liked reading that. To each his own- to find freedom and joy are a lot more important than going to church every sunday to feel guilty for being human.~Adrienne~
