Obama & Clinton have small differences, but what really makes them different other than black & woman?

Forgive me, I'm still new to politics, but the primaries are almost over and I still don't really see the difference between the two. That could be why their debates were always jab, jab, stab, stab because they're VERY similar. If i could vote, I wouldn't even know who to vote for.I meant politically. Their stances on issues and the thigs they want to do are similar.

You've *got* to be kidding me!!!!! Their politics are not at all similar!Obama is very far left. He was active in socialist and communist movements.Clinton is about as middle-of-the road as you get in a Democrat.I realize that you say you are new at this. Actually research each candidate before making statements like you did.

There have been books after books written to bash Hillary Clinton. Everything you know about Obama (well almost) comes from him...his books, his campaign, his fans, advocates and proponents. The media has fallen all over itself to give him good press, refusing to take a detailed look at his political history, his record as a State Senator, or his community organizing tactics. I'm not looking for dirt, but that's the main difference. We don't know enough about Obama from independent sources.

They do have some similarities but Obama is far more socially liberal than Clinton.

they are the same on issues, the repubs just like to call the winner too liberal. If Hillary won they would say the same. I think they have said it about every democrat that has ever ran.The most socialist thing that has been proposed by either candidate is the Healthcare plan and Hilliary's defiantly takes it step further by making hers mandatory. So who is more liberal.

Politically, not a lot. Their platforms are virtually identical. Clinton now has 8 years (I think ) in the senate in addition to her years as an attorney for human rights, civil rights, children's rights issues. Obama has 8 years as a state Senator and 3 year (I think) as a US senator in addition to his experience as an attorney, community organizer, and US Constitutional Law scholar/lecturer.

There is not a big difference. This year the Democrats are trying to get elected through publicity stunts. I mean honestly, a caucasian woman and an African-American man! If i were you, I wouldnt even consider voting for the Democrats this year because neither of the candidates are Democrats, they are Socialists. and a Socialist President would be catastrophic for the future of our great, DEMOCRATIC nation
