| Does the Gay marriage issue have any place in the presidential campaign?
There exists a separation of church and state in the laws of the US and, in my opinion, marriage is really an issue for religions to contemplate. Is there really a difference between gays legally marrying and members of different races and different religions legally marrying?http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/gay_marriage_politicsRACERX2 - Amen.

No it should have nothing to do with the presidential campaign and I think if two people want to get married that love each other that they should be able to do that.

No it should not be used as a tool just so some politician can grab some attention off the media ( sound byte of the night ), and as most should have realized by now, most politicians will bring up homosexuality in order to divert attention away from the fact that hey really lack any significant political subject upon which to base their political ambitions so they go for sensationalism. To your second question, no, not really, but if you will look back in history, politicians did the same ting when interracial unions was against the law, and most churches spoke up agains such, stating it was against the will of God ( rolls eyes ).Same tatics, different topic.

YES!!!! I am a heterosexual woman who believes people have the right to live their lives in the pursuit of happiness. So, I want to know that my president feels the same way. I want to think that my president would be in support of legalizing gay marriage so that homosexuals have the right to pursue their own happiness. Shouldn't we all know what the future president supports and believes in???
