| Why did Republicans let the terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 escape from Afghanistan into Pakistan? Why did we invade a country that didn't attack us, instead of catching the terrorists that did attack us?
And since Republicans say we are winning in Iraq doesn't that mean we can start pulling out all our troops and let the Iraqis defend themselves?
Musharaf isn't much of an ally if he allows terrorists to run free in his country to plot against us.
We didn't send in enough troops to Afghanistan at the beginning to prevent the terrorists from escaping. That was the fault of the people in charge, who were Republicans.
Begonia: And who paid for the training those hijackers received, and who came up with the plan to fly into buildings?
snith: Stupid, stupid, stupid. Bush Sr. started cutting the military besause the Cold War was over. Clinton did take terrorism seriously, and he warned Bush Jr. of the dangers from Al Queda. Bush Jr. ignored all warnings, and did nothing when the FBI proved in February of 2001 that Al Queda was responsible for the Cole bombing.
chocolat: That is a lame excuse for letting the terrorists get away. If the Pakistanis are our friends wouldn't they help us catch Bin Laden. If they aren't our friends then wouldn't that make them our enemies according to Republican logic? So that would make them a part of the axis of evil, right? |
